Mending & Minding with Alice Halliday

A fun and practical hands-on workshop where you can give old clothes a new lease of life. Alice will inspire and demonstrate simple and effective ways of upcycling, reworking, mending and embellishing fabrics and clothing, so we can make more mindful choices. Bring along some vintage or pre worn items which need a little love and attention.

All materials & equipment provided, but do bring your own sewing kit if you have one!

The afternoon in more detail

The journey will begin with a chance to drop into the body and out of the mind, as Aoise guides a short embodiment and meditation practice before opening sacred space. She will be inviting in the energy of the rose with shamanic drumming and channeled medicine music.

We will be working with the rose medicine, mythology and symbolism as we invite a sharing circle, rooting us deeply in our heart space. This will be a sensual wonderland with rose scented rituals & delicious rose refreshments. 

Alice will guide you in (a powerful journey of) how to create your own rose Goddess crown, providing you with all the materials, including; dried roses & foliage, fabric flowers & vintage trimmings.

Once you have channeled your loving energy into completing your crowns, you will be ready to step wholly into your Goddess self for your empowering Sacred Soul Portrait with Aoise.

We encourage you to bring some clothing that you feel amazing in, but you may also choose pieces from Alice’s rail of luxurious garments, fabrics & accessories. 

Crowning yourself & being photographed can be a very powerful/sacred/healing & transformative experience… Know that ALL of you is welcome. We will be here to support and empower you on this process and journey of reclamation.
