Made to Cherish
βShe completely understood the vision and leapt into a creative mode! It is a beautifully wild and instinctive process which sparks so much inspiration! You really feel she takes on a project on a personal level, creating solely for the individual and coming up with incredible ideas and techniques to execute. β
Brand Ethos
Alice Halliday Couture prides in the revival and reinvention of discovered and discarded treasures, to create exquisite slow fashion finery.
It is Alice Hallidayβs intention to create soulful designs, that are both intuitive and eco-conscious. She wishes to inspire and empower her clients, giving them the confidence to embrace their wild feminine essence within.
Deeply rooted in the natural world, Alice Halliday draws inspiration from the rural landscapes of West Cork, Ireland.
Lovingly slow-crafted at the Aliceβs Atelier in Skibbereen, her unique creations are wearable works of art, mindfully designed, with sustainability at the core.
Alice works delicately, with the finest reclaimed and vintage materials, each piece is ethically hand-stitched with so much love and attention to detail.
Alice Halliday is the Designer/Creator of the white lace cape worn by style icon Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine, as seen in Vogue.
βOne could be forgiven for thinking that the prettiest and most feminine clothes and accessories inspired and hand sewn by Alice were from the golden era of the tea-dance or garden party, even a ballet. Alice Halliday has a uniquely sensitive eye for texture, fabric and colour which she skilfully marries together with the passion of a true artist. Her designs tie vintage pieces with new material and are as lovely and as gentle as she herself.β
