This one of a kind dress is from Alice Halliday's S/S 2015 collection 'A Secret Garden'.

Adapted from a plain vintage slip, the main dress is in lemon yellow cotton.

It is hand embellished with the most luxurious silk tassel trim with an oriental feel. The tassels cover the thin shoulder straps and cross over the bust, joining to the waistband. Yellow, pink and green with a tiny hint of blue and white the tassels hang from a a beautiful woven green base.

The waist band and hem are in green floral cotton trim with pink and yellow floral print.

The dress has two big pockets, these have delicate circular floral applique motifs in the finest vintage white cotton.

The dress fastens at the back with a zip.

It is fully lined in silky cream satin, with a full under-skirt of white netting.

A show stopping dress, ideal for a summer party, special event or wedding.
